I don't know why they decided it was a good idea to make us rehearse on a friday night but here I am, making puppets and dancing & singing around to songs that aren't even in the show for the past two hours. And we aren't done yet! Instead of out bowling and playing laser tag with my friends. I am damned dedicated to making this show not suck.

Hidden talent I didn't know I had #48: Making up limericks.

I've been rping in limerick form for the past few hours. It's going much better than I thought.

Somehow I pulled an A+ off on my last history of Illustration assignment.

I did it in about an hour, hour and a half tops including all of the research. 500 words, half compare contrast of two posters of my choice and half a biography on an illustrator from the 1800's. I also turned half of it in a minute late. Oh well! good thing I decided to do it, I almost skipped it.

In other news, betrayme's friend Gwen is visiting and arrived safely about an hour ago and startrek_diary owns my soul. Otherwise life as usual, procrastination and lots of doodling.

Black & White Ball tomorrow night, I'm excited and have my outfit all picked out because I am a dork.

Today I skanked around twitter following Comic Con madness. Adam of Mythbusters challenged followers to find him in costume, madness ensued, hints were given, very bad guesses were guessed... but no one saw him (or saw and realized it was him at least) until later in the day when he'd changed out of the costume. He promises to tell tomorrow.

Also Wil Wheaton is going to be in The Guild season 3 as a villain and the Guild cast dressed up as their game characters for their panel. They are amazing on all counts.

I suppose you might want to know something real-world-y but my life is boring. Tomorrow I'm going to the botanical gardens outside of chicago and I bought Good Omens(at long last) and Deadeye Dick(a Vonnegut) tonight. I intend to finish at least one tomorrow, if not both.

I am breaking my lj silence to squee about Doctor Who, and Dollhouse, and probably something else fandom-y that I have now forgotten....











in non-fandom news my life is lame and I'm working on a design for threadless. That's about it.

M 1-6 Artist's book (fine artyness and crazy all in one!)
W 1-6 SCREENPRINTING AT LAST
F 1-6 Editorial Illustration, which, despite being my major and with tom garret I'm least excited for. but I need the practice and take a semester without and illustration course would be dumb...
and then I'm taking History of Illustration with is all online.

I'm excited for no night classes. They are probably my least favorite things ever. Lithography on Tuesdays is my alternate. Which would be really cool, I may take it next spring...

w00t.

hmm, I should probably go work on my hw now. I have to write a proposal to email by tonight. I should get on that.


Also I'm using the little mermaid as my comic final ^^; THIS TIME MY GROUP CHOOSE IT NOT ME. It's going to be cut paper and siloheuttes and I am very very excited, I'm thumbnailing/sketching today.

EDIT: LOL I turned in my sheet without Artist's Book on it. my internship spot was on it instead. FAIL. I went by and fixed it, I'll get my fixed schedule tomorrow. Everything else is set though!
